Educational Fun For The Whole Family: STEM Fest Highlights

Last Saturday, March 15, SC4 hosted more than 7,000 people for STEM Fest 2025. We want to give a huge thank you to our generous donors, SC4’s executive leadership team, volunteers, event partners and the entire community for making this event such a success. Here’s the recap of some of the experiences that were offered:

Challenger Mini Mission

Families explored SC4’s Challenger Learning Center. This space shuttle simulator includes interactive activities for all ages. See more here.

Over 100 Activities!

Stem Fest featured over 100 activities by SC4, Michigan Technological University’s Mind Trekkers, Cranbrook Institute of Science and the Reptarium of Utica.

Planetarium Experience

Participants experienced a thirty-minute planetarium presentation by Dr. Patrick Wilcox.

SC4 Baja Team

The SC4 BAJA team showed off their handiwork (featuring President Kirk Kramer in the driver’s seat.)

Astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger

Retired astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lidenburger returned for meet and greets this year. Read more about her story here.
