Housing Students Celebrate With Thanksgiving Feast
If there is one thing college students love, it’s free food! On Wednesday, November 20, President Kramer and Chief of Staff Sarah Rutallie provided a Thanksgiving meal for all housing residents in the College Center Café. They enjoyed a spread of dinner rolls, turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, and fresh salad provided by Chef Mike.

Over sixty students took part in the meal and housing community-building.

“The meal was more than just food; it was a reminder of the importance of community and togetherness,” Said Cori Krohn, Executive Director of Safety & Compliance. “It was a wonderful way to bring everyone together and show that we care about each other’s well-being. One student noted that it was his first full meal since he left home to come to school. This meal was a highlight of the week for many students and created a very caring and positive atmosphere. We are so grateful for this thoughtful gesture that brought so much joy to students.”

To assist with transportation, Cori shuttled students to and from the dorms with an SC4 bus.

With plenty of food to share, students were also provided to-go boxes for tasty leftovers!
This housing event was a wonderful opportunity to show our housing students how much we appreciate them. We were excited to wish them a happy Thanksgiving and help make SC4 into their home away from home.
